Chickboxing

Chickboxing is our ‘ladies only’ programme.  Chickboxing sessions involve practising elements of Kickboxing combined with fitness training.  Classes are taught at a beginner level, so are especially suitable for women who have no prior experience of martial arts.

Why train in ChickBoxing?
Our Chickboxing classes give all women the chance to improve their physical wellbeing and learn kickboxing skills in a friendly and non-competitive environment.  Whether your aim is to develop new skills, improve your fitness, lose weight, get stronger- our Chickboxing classes can provide you with a fun and motivating environment in which to achieve your goal.  

What to expect
Sessions begin with a light warm up and stretching.  Most of the class is then spent working with a partner, where we will practise punching and kicking techniques on focus pads and kick shields.  The session ends with some high intensity exercise.  Classes do not involve any sparring/ physical contact.

Classes Wednesdays 6.00-7.00pm and Saturdays 9.30-10.30am

 

Fully equiped gym

The Fightworx gym has a fully matted training area, kettle bells and weights, training pads, separate male and female changing rooms and toilets. Coming soon we have an onsite equipment and supplements shop.

 

Quality Instruction

All the gyms instructors are all highly skilled, with extensive martial arts backgrounds. The gym is fully insured and runs all classes in a professional and managed environment.

We offer classes in MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Thai / Kickboxing.
