All abilities and level are welcome to this class, though focus is mainly at beginners. This is a work out and pad work class. Shorts/Joggy bottoms and T-shirt are suitable for this class.

£4 per person for this class. (optional £16pcm standing order)


Our Kickboxing classes are designed to improve your fitness, confidence and teach you valuable self defense techniques.

Kickboxing classes are a mixture of striking techniques from sport Kickboxing and Combat Sambo (used by the Russian Military).

Classes are based around a warm up and stretching, followed by core exercises (designed to improve balance, strength, co-ordination and balance), then pad work and technique building. Sessions often finish with pad blitzing (using techniques known and learnt to hammer the pads) and a warm down.

Classes are aimed at beginners and those wanting to improve their fitness.


In the Combat Kickboxing classes you will learn

  • How to strike from standup (punching, elbows, knees, kicks).
  • Striking and Clinch work when grabbed.
  • Simple throws when grabbed by a bigger opponent.
  • How to land my safer when you fall / pushed / thrown.
  • How to safely get back up to your feet, from your back
  • How to strike when on the floor.
  • How to escape quickly when pinned.
  • All in a dynamic and active training environment.

Combat Kickboxing helps

  • Increase fitness / endurance
  • Increase strength and flexibility
  • Learn self defense techniques
  • Improve self self confidence
  • Improve social skills and awareness
  • Loose weight (as part of a calorie controlled diet)

Training is done in short/jogging bottoms and t-shirt / comfortable top. There are no rules on what you have to wear.
